I have never done an empties post before but was intrigued to do it. I have a horrible habit of not finishing products up. Although I “hit pan” every now and then, It is very rare that I finish any product as I am always trying out so many different products and never seem to reach the end of something. Lately I have been trying to change that and am motivated to start finishing things before I purchase or try out anything new. I think doing these empties posts is a great way to show readers the things I am currently using and the things that I use the most and also to do mini reviews on everything.
Onto the empties:
Osmia Organics Rose Clay Facial Soap(review here) – You can barely see the teeny tiny reminisce of soap left over but I used up the entire soap bar over the course of a few months or more. It lasted me quite awhile. I repurchased this soap immediately after using it up as it’s a staple of mine. It works wonders at removing makeup and doesn’t dry my skin out one bit.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Osmia Organics Body Oil: Wood(review here) – I had a tiny amount of this oil left when I took this photo but used it up soon after. It is super moisturizing and wonderful to apply on wet skin after getting out of the shower. The smell is extremely relaxing. I will definitely be purchasing more of Osmia’s body oils.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Osmia Organics Purely Simple Facial Cream (review here) – It took me awhile to use up this sample because a little bit goes a long way. I now have the full-size version because it’s my go-to moisturizer. Whenever my skin is feeling dry or irritated, I know that I can count on this cream to calm and hydrate my skin.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil – I have used up two bottles of Tea Tree Oil in the past few months. I love this stuff. I use it for everything from spot treating acne, cleaning my bathroom, adding in to face masks and hair washes, cuts, etc. It’s an essential.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Leahlani Skincare Aloe Day Dream Cream (review here) – This is another sample that I used up quite fast. It was wonderful to use as a daily moisturizer and I love how fast it absorbed into my skin. I love everything from this line and think this is a great daytime moisturizer.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Sugared Beauty Happy Face Scrub – This scrub was featured in my one of my Goodeboxes and I instantly fell in love with it. Right after running out of this scrub I placed an order for a full-size version and am currently using it nightly. I plan to a full review on it soon because I really, really love it.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Simple Sugars Sugar and Spice Body Scrub – This body scrub featured in my November Goodebox.I seriously used this up really fast because it smelled SO GOOD and made my skin feel really soft and moisturized. I am not sure if I will purchase a full size as I tend to make my own body scrubs. The scent of this is very unique though and if I were to purchase a body scrub it would most likely be this one!
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
BFree Organics Facial Toner(review here) – I used this toner up pretty fast as I literally used it every single night after cleansing to remove excess makeup and to help fight blemishes.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Nature’s Gate Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner – I really love this shampoo and conditioner but have since switched over to only using oils to clean my hair (see my current haicare routine blog post here) I had no intentions of changing over to anything else when using this shampoo and conditioner but I found that the ingredients just weren’t as clean as I would like and I also wanted to try to do the “No-’Poo” method for at least six months to see how my hair responded. If I do decide to go back to using natural shampoo again I will probably use this again as I just love the smell of it so, so much and it makes my hair feel so soft.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Heritage Rosewater and Glycerin Spray – I go through bottles of these all the time because I use it for just about everything and many times throughout the day. It works wonderful as a facial moisturizer and body moisturizer. It is great for spraying on the hair. It is so incredibly moisturizing. I even dedicated an entire video about it on my youtube awhile back. I swear by this for glowing skin!
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Lauren Brooke Creme Concealer- I had a sample of this concealer in “Light” and it lasted me quite awhile. Luckily I have another back up concealer sample to finish before I purchase the full size. It is definitely one of my favorite concealers — it is very creamy and perfect for covering redness and blemishes. I like it for under my eyes too but it does tend to crease throughout the day.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Tom’s Of Maine Simply White Toothpaste - This is my favorite natural toothpaste that I have found so far. I plan to try out others since running out of this but it really is a great toothpaste. Helps to whiten my teeth and leaves my mouth feeling extra clean.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Rainwater Botanicals Pumpkin Facial Mask - Wonderful product. A few months ago I had breakouts left and right and I had some hyper-pigmentation left over. After using this sample within a few weeks the redness and irritation was completely gone. It smells like delicious pumpkin and spice. It stings a little bit but that just means it’s working! I will be getting myself a full size version of this because it’s nice to know it’s there in case I need to clear up any pigmentation or blemishes! It works FAST.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Sequoia Beauty Honey Berry Enzyme Mask (review here) -This sample was not hard for me to use up within a matter of days. It is just so delicious. The scent, the texture – everything about it. I am sad to be out of it already because my skin literally craves it now! it is so incredibly moisturizing and did I say delicious!?

I had the desire to do a super dark, smokey-eye look using only clean ingredients as I haven’t done a dramatic look like this in quite some time!
This look is really easy to do. It only took me fifteen minutes! It’s perfect for a night out, but not too intense that you couldn’t wear it during the day!
When you do a dark eye-look I always recommend going lighter on the lips so that your lips and your eyes aren’t competing for the intensity!
I know that when considering switching over to non-toxic products that a lot of people are concerned that the products won’t work as well and that you won’t be able to achieve such a glamorous and pigmented look with natural and organic ingredients. This is not true! Proof is shown below

I have decided to start making videos on my YouTube channel again. I really have slacked off on doing so because I created this blog and am so passionate about it that I put all of my focus here. I do, however, want to start making videos every few weeks or so. My main priority will always be my blog but I think it will be nice to have a few tutorials and things of that nature once and awhile! So definitely check out my channel for future videos!

I really love purple eyeshadow especially for brown eyes. I think it really adds a wide awake look to the entire face. I added subtle shimmer to the inner corner of the lids to further brighten the look. This was my first time using the Lip Plumpers from Jane Iredale and I love them! They are super moisturizing and wear really well. This color paired perfectly with the look I was going for.

♥ Soapwalla Deodorant Cream – I just did an entire review on this deodorant cream here. It’s truly the best natural deodorant I have ever used!
♥ Herbal Recipes For Vibrant Health by Rosemary Gladstar – I have had this book for awhile now and I always find the best recipes to make at home. There is an herbal recipe for just about everything you can think of and I love how it’s all easy to do and straight-forward. This is a book that I always keep on hand.
♥ Infinite Love Mist - This mist smells of Rose, Red Mandarin, & Honey. It’s so delicious! I like to spray it on my pillow cases at night and also when I get out of the shower for a quick pick me up. I love all of the mists from Lotus Wei.
♥ Enzalase – It is no secret that I have a compromised digestive system and unfortunately I do not digest foods properly or fast enough which causes me a great deal of discomfort. I have always taken digestive enzymes with my meals but this specific formula is by far the best I have ever used. it contains a high amount of Lipase which is what helps to aid in digesting fats. I take two with every meal and it has helped with bloating and stomach cramping after eating. I highly recommend this to anyone with digestion issues!
♥ Pure + Simple Blush in “Soleil” – I have been wearing this blush pretty much every time I wear makeup lately. I am usually a fan of only rose or very pinkish blushes but there is something about this color that is really flattering on my fair skin. I will be doing a review on it soon so I won’t go into too much detail but I really love it!
♥ Skinnygirl Smoothing and Firming Body Lotion – Although this contains a few ingredients that I am not thrilled about, for the most part the ingredients are clean so I decided that because I really don’t use any body products that are not entirely natural that I would splurge with this item because of the key ingredients which are really good for the skin. I really like the smell of it (coconut) and I like that it contains caffeine which can help to firm the skin. It is also really moisturizing. Another plus is that this is really easy to find (target, marshall’s, etc) and super affordable, I got mine for $4.99 at Marshalls! can’t beat that.
♥ Osmia Organics Honey-Myrrh Lip Repair – If you are a reader of my blog then it will come as no surprise to you that I am mentioning Osmia Organics again. They are one of, if not my all-time favorite skincare lines. This lip repair does wonders for my lips!! I wear it at night before bed and wake up with the softest lips in the world. I cannot wait to use this all winter long and avoid having chapped lips! I will do a review on this soon as it’s too good to just mention briefly!
♥ Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner – I bought this over a year ago and it I still have a lot left. It lasts forever! The smell of this is so good I cannot even begin to describe. It leaves your hair smelling like vanilla all day and night! It is completely natural and does wonders for tangles and really does a great job as conditioning but I won’t lie, my favorite part of this is the scent. It’s just so good!
♥ May Lindstrom’s “The Problem Solver” – I have been using May’s products for the past week now and I am in love with every single one. This mask is my favorite out of all of them, though it is really hard to choose. I love the smell of this and the way it makes my skin feel. It’s the most luxurious face mask I have ever used. I cannot wait to do a full review on this product as well as the rest of her line very soon!!!
♥ Lavender and Chamomile Tea – I have been drinking this every night and also sometimes during the day when I feel nervous or anxious. The combination of these two herbs is perfection. It never ceases to help me relax.
♥ Polyvore – This site is super addicting. I love creating sets and different outfit ideas. So much fun!!

This week was tough. I was in the ER Sunday night and Wednesday I had my first Iron Transfusion(update blog post coming soon). I am pretty much on bed rest right now so I haven’t been able to do as much as I would like but these are the things I have been enjoying this week while trying to recover from everything.

♥ Raw Manuka Honey: I love using this as a face mask and hair mask and also I love putting it in my tea. It’s really rich in antibacterial properties and has been shown to help improve digestion and immunity.
♥ Organic Raw Triphala Powder: I just did an entire blog post on Triphala here. I have been taking it for years but recently discovered this powdered version which I love to put in my smoothies in the morning. It’s an amazing ayurvedic herb for detoxing and digestive health.
♥ Jewelmint Calla Lilly Earrings: These are the daintiest earrings I have bought in awhile. They are so delicate and beautiful. I love the little pearl inside of the lilly and they really just add a little bit of glamour to any casual outfit.
♥ The Night Circus: I am a part of a new book club that one of my friends started and this is the first book assigned to us to read. I am loving it so far. It’s magical.
♥ Heather’s Tummy Teas Organic Fennel: I love fennel tea. It calms my stomach and this tea especially seems to work better than most fennel teas I have tried in the past. It is very potent and I love to have a cup or two before bed.
♥ Gluten Free Gin Gin Double Strength Ginger Candies: These little candies save my life everyday when I am feeling nauseous. I carry them around in my purse at all times and lately they have been very needed!
♥ Hurraw! Coconut Lipbalm: I can’t seem to stop talking about these lip balms. They are amazing. The coconut is currently my favorite. The smell is delicious!
♥ Goodreads ♥ Spinach Omelets ♥ 500px ♥ Benadryl(helps me sleep through the nights) ♥ Homemade Face Masks ♥ Coconut Oil ♥ Fall photography ♥
