The Lash Project Gluten Free Conditioning Mascara

When I first heard the news that Red Apple Lipstick was formulating an all-natural, gluten-free and non-toxic mascara, I just KNEW it would be amazing. Every single  product they create and I’ve had the pleasure to  try, I have loved. I’m so excited to share with you this new mascara that is truly wonderful…

We all know how hard and frustrating it can be to find a good natural mascara. The unique things about this mascara in particular? It is not only gluten free, vegan, non GMO, cruelty free, but is also free of soy, dairy, corn, pretty much all things that can cause allergies or irritations. If you are someone with sensitive eyes like me (as well as sensitive “everything”..): this is most likely THE mascara for you.

The Lash Project Lash Conditioner Mascara is rightfully named because it not only volumizes and  lengthens but it also works to protect and nourish the lashes! It is like a mascara and treatment in one. I for one  want to protect my lashes. I have no problem growing my eyebrows out, but for some reason my eyelashes seem immune to new growth. Maybe it’s a genetic thing! How many of us have lost precious lashes to harsh mascaras that leave  lashes feeling hard and let’s not even get into trying to wash off some of those mascaras… I’ve lost too many lashes to go down that route again!! And my personal opinion of fake eyelashes are that I love them for occasional use (with only non-toxic glue of course) when going for ultra glam makeup looks. But I need (and found) my new daily go-to mascara.

You can purchase the Lash Project 2-IN-1 Mascara + Conditioner here on Red Apple Lipstick’s website. Use the code “BBB” at checkout to receive 22% off of a $50 order or more!!

  1. Does gluten in a mascara cause irritation? I’ve never really thought about any of those “food” allergies in mascara, especially since I always think that natural products don’t work so well. But that mascara definitely pops! And I love that lipstick color on you!

    1. Good point. Coeliac disease or the inflammation caused by gluten actually occurs in small intestine so gluten-free imakeup is just a marketing hype. Plus, makeup doesn’t really contain ingredients with gluten much (wheat, barley, rye…). But it does look nice on the lashes.

      1. Hey! I would have to disagree with you there. Having celiac disease and having an allergy and/or sensitivity towards gluten can be two separate things. I personally cannot tolerate eye creams that contain wheat products. My eyes get swollen. Many people are sensitive to gluten and everything we put on our skin and hair (including lashes) ends up in our bloodstream. It’s ideal for those with celiac to avoid makeup containing gluten.

  2. I follow Red Apple’s newsletter and FB and I’ve seen them promoting this left and right, but I’m happy to finally read a blogger review about it! I’m very curious, as my usual go-tos are 100% Pure Black Tea Mascara and Physician’s Formula Organic Wear. Thanks for the discount code too! ❤

  3. Firstly you are so beautiful and really nice to know that there are non erritant mascara as I am one of those people that have allergic reaction to everything lol

  4. Great review! Going to go pick this one up! Could you also review Vain Pursuits? I’d love to hear what you have to say about them!

  5. I’ve been so curious about this mascara and think I just might have to get it now. I’ve really loved all the Red Apple Lipstick products I’ve tried too! The mascara and lip color look beautiful on you as well 🙂

  6. When I first started looking for clean, I was left feeling disappointed with the selection. been excited to see these options grows as the green beauty community expand. As of late, my favorites are the 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Mascara, Kjaer Weis Mascara, and the W3LL PEOPLE Expressionist Bio Extreme Mascara.

  7. Are you able to share the ingredient list on this product? I cannot find any ingredient lists online for the Red Apple products. Thanks!
