I have never been a huge fan of full-coverage foundations as I really enjoy letting my skin breathe and I love to let my freckles peek through and to have a natural and yet luminous glow to my face. I usually opt for minerals to achieve this look but recently started using the RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up which doubles as a concealer and light foundation and gives me the perfect amount of light coverage without ever looking cakey or causing dryness due to the healthy oils in this product like organic Coconut, Castor and Jojoba oils.

You can see in these photo that the “Un” Cover-Up really lets my skin shine through. It doesn’t completely cover my freckles but it does even out any redness, especially around my nose area and it helps to decently cover my dark circles. I find that it doesn’t settle into the lines under my eyes or crease throughout the day, especially if I set it with powder. I also use the lightest color offered which is “11” and it has a yellow tone to it which can sometimes be a little extra work to blend in at first but after a few minuets the color seems to adjust to my skin tone! Another great thing about this product is that it is build-able so if you are looking for a more than sheer coverage you can add more product and it never looks like you are wearing too much as it blends perfectly!

What It Is:

RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up is unlike typical concealers that can be heavy and drying to the skin. “Un” Cover-Up is formulated to enhance and nourish the skin where it needs it most. Use as a concealer or light foundation to give subtle, flawless, even coverage, banishing ruddiness, sallowness, redness, blemishes and darkness. Because this concealer contains such beneficial and clean ingredients it actually helps heal the skin while giving you a flawless, youthful coverage.

Ingredients:

organic cocos nucifera (coconut) oil*, organic ricinus communis (castor) seed oil*, organic cera alba (beeswax)*, organic theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter*, organic simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil*, tocopherol (non-gmo), organic rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) extract*, may contain + / – : titanium dioxide ci 77891, iron oxides ci 77492, ci 77491, ci 77499.

How I use it:

This product is best when applied with fingers as the heat from your fingers will allow this cream product to melt seamlessly into the skin. I love to apply this with fingers and then use a damp Beauty Blender to smooth out everything after applying it with my fingers. I find this gives me the most natural and flawless coverage. I like to apply an oil or moisturizer before using this product because I have dry skin but because this product contains such moisturizing oils you do not have to moisturize before using this, especially if you have normal or oily skin.

  1. Wow you really are a natural beauty aren’t you?!

I’ve used RMS Un Cover Up myself. Despite the small size I love just how long it lasts as it goes a long way indeed. Unfortunately despite my dry skin type my skin didn’t react to well and I broke out. I used it very lightly so I am not sure why it happened. I ended up giving it to my boyfriend and it suited him fine and he loves it. I’m so glad it worked for you though, makes you look so fresh and radiant. xx

    1. You are seriously too sweet! So happy you stopped by and commented because I just checked out your blog and I love it so much. I am sorry to hear the Un Cover Up didn’t work for you! I have really dry skin too and it works really well for me but I do have to moisturize beforehand and I usually spritz my face with aloe vera spray or rosewater to set it! I am glad your boyfriend is able to use it atleast! I do agree that the small size lasts a long time and goes such a long way! Thank you again for your comment and I am flattered by your compliments 🙂 xoxo

    1. I would love to do a giveaway of this or any other RMS products! Hopefully sometime!
and a fairy woodland goddess – wow, I love that! Thank you so much 🙂 🙂

  3. I’m going to recommend this to my sister and some other friends who need something simple like this.

PS: I love your freckles I wish you’d always show them.
PS2: More kissyface pictures please. Haha! 😀

    1. Thank you!!! Trust me with the summer around the corner there will be plenty more freckles appearing!! I don’t like to cover them much anymore. 🙂 more kissy faces coming soon!

  4. Your freckles are beautiful! You’re so right that you do need to cover it all up plus your skin is flawless. I agree that you are such a natural beauty and like a fairy woodland goddess! I must stop before I sound like a creeper haha.

I looooove “Un” Cover-Up! It’s one of the first products that convinced me into green products CAN work flawlessly. I am never a fan of mineral powders, it just never sits right on my skin and I am not that good and buffing and buffing countless of times to get a perfect finish. Anyway, RMS concealer covers my blemishes really well (and helps to heal it too sometimes) without causing further break outs. I do like to take a break from it once in awhile though because I still love the idea of using my moisturising routine and with it on top is just a bit too much for my skin on some days. But, the finish of this concealer is craazy, it’s just so smooth and natural and never at all oily but only dewy and makes you feel like you have taken care of your skin super well. As you can tell, I can go on and on about this product and the rest of her products haha!

    1. You are too sweet!!! and you don’t sound like a creeper at all 🙂 I am so flattered.
The Un cover Up is amaaazing! I love how it works for covering blemishes as well and also find that it helps to heal! Have you ever tried the Living Luminizer? I love to use it with the Un cover Up – all of her products work so beautifully together, I could go on and on also! haha
Thanks for your comment love 🙂

      1. omg! I’m sorry I was meant to say “You’re so right that you doN’T need to cover it all up plus your skin is flawless”

  5. I really like uncover, it’s too dark for me now but otherwise perfect, the finish is very natural looking, I am general a fan of RMSBeauty 😀

  6. Nice review and I too love RMS un-coverup. I think my skin’s condition actually improves from using it due to its nourishing ingredients. Have you tried the Lip2Cheek yet? I have it in Smile and Promise and both wear so naturally on the skin. I highly recommend!

  7. Hi! Just liked you on Fb loving your blog!

I wanted to ask, i have dark under eye circles, do you think this concealer has enough coverage for that? MY dark circles can be pretty bad.

If not do you know a concealer that can do the job?

    Thanks!

    1. Hey, thanks so much for liking my FB page and for stopping by and commenting 🙂
I have dark circles too and some days are worse than others. The RMS Un Cover Up is good for dark circles but for me pink seems to be the best at canceling out the darkness and the Un Cover Up is more yellow-based. My favorite under-eye concealer is the Jane Iredale Circle/Delete because it has a pink color and a yellow toned color to mix together and it really does wonders for my dark circles. I highly recommend it!

  8. I love Un Cover Up, too! Can’t wait to do my own review although my RMS pot looks like it’s gone to war, haha.

It’s so easy to use, looks natural (which is a requirement for me as I don’t wear makeup most of the time) and is idiot-proof to use. I need the convenience because I’ve got amateur makeup skills, haha.

And you’re beautiful! Your skin is glowing!

  9. Oooh, I NEED this concealer! I have really dry patches under my eyes that can be irritated by normal, drying concealers. Do you think this concealer will work well for me? I’m worried about creasing…
