Lana Del Rey at Irving Plaza June 7th 2012

All dressed up and ready to head into the city to see Lana…

We arrived at the venue at 4pm. doors opened at 8pm and Lana came on at 10pm.

I was standing for almost 8 hours including waiting for her after the show. I am still in pain but it was well worth it.

I met Lana after the show! It was so rushed so I didn’t have time to ask her to sign anything for me but thankfully I was able to get a photo and tell her that I love her and she said “I love you too” and I almost died. She is even more beautiful in person. Flawless. Honestly watching her on stage was like watching an angel. I was in awe the entire time. Her vocal range is insane. I do not think there is anyone like her, she is so unique and so talented. I just love her so much.

I think it’s amazing that I was wearing a blue flower that matched her outfit without even knowing. haha

The set lasted about 45 mins and wasn’t long enough, it went by so fast. I didn’t take as many photos and videos as I expected to because I really just wanted to be in the moment entirely. It was one of the best nights of my life. hearing her live is a surreal experience and meeting her was otherworldly.

At the end of “National Anthem” she dove into the first few rows and I held her hand for awhile. She looked right at me. *sigh* I am such a fangirl!

She is the best. I cannot wait until she comes back to NYC again. I want to meet her again so badly.
