  1. I have a date with Aidan Turner for Valentine’s Day (sadly only in the form of watching The Hobbit for the 10th time, but whatever, it counts)! 😀

  2. My boyfriend will be making dinner. He worked as a server for years so it’s nice just to be able to spend Valentine’s Day with him!

  3. This Valentine’s Day I will be going out with two of my roommates to see the movie About Last Night and then have a small dinner afterwards. I enjoy just spending quality time with others, doesn’t have to be anything fancy or expensive, as long as I’m with the people I love. And we will definitely be dressing up for Valentine’s Day (:
I tend to get a lot of acne sometimes so I am really careful with what I eat as well as what I put on my face. I want body to be healthy both on the inside and outside. Just two years ago, I slowly started switching to all natural products such as shampoo, lotion, face wash, body wash, and cosmetics. I would love to try some of these lovely Valentine’s goodies.
I am also obsessed with any and every kind of tea there is. I was born in Ukraine and we definitely drink tea on a daily basis. I would love to try the Pukka Tea, I haven’t tried it yet (:
Thank you so much for this giveaway Britanie and I hope you have a fabulous Valentine’s Day!

  4. i’m staying in with some girlfriends + we’re gonna watch some old romantic films and spoil ourselves with some vegan chocolate!
i show myself i care about me by doing yoga everyday. taking care of body, mind and spirit is a must ❤

  5. I plan on spending Valentines Day with my best friend since I was 7. We are probably going to do a class at the gym as a way to spend time together and to treat our bodies right. I show I care about myself by being conscious of what products I put on my skin and in my body. I also try to think positively and treat myself to a bit of chocolate on this special day.

  6. I’m going to be going to a Valentine’s Party with my friends and we’re going to watch The Proposal and gorge ourselves with chocolate 🙂 I show myself love by smiling every day.

  7. I’m planning on spending valentine’s day snuggling with all my pets (3 cats and 1 dog). I care for myself with positive affirmations and beauty sleep! 🙂 Thank you for yet another wonderful giveaway!

  8. My boyfriend is currently across an ocean from me. I will be spending Valentine’s Day evening with a Skype call filled with too much longing. The day I will spend caring for myself, as I routinely do, with some yoga and lots of self-pampering. I call my once weekly indulgence my “Goddess Bath” and soak in a salted and oiled brew after scrubbing down my entire body with sugar, followed by a pedicure and at home facial. All in all? Sounds like a great way to spend a day! Thanks for such an awesome giveaway opportunity!

  9. Valentine’s Day is my husband’s birthday! We are going for a long hike in the woods and I am making him his favorites for dinner.

I show I care about myself by eating healthy and having a well stocked soaker tub for any much needed spa bath time!

  10. Britanie, you’re such a generous person, thank you for this lovely giveaway<3 I don't have any plans for tomorrow, what about you? 🙂
I show I care about myself by eating healthy foods, doing some exercises and use as much green beauty products as I can. I also think that being nice and think positively is the best you can do!
    Have a great Valentine's Day! 🙂 xx

  11. Tomorrow on Valentine’s day I’m going to be making a yummy vegan toffee pecan pudding cake with coconut cream and toffee drizzle on top for my parents and I. I love baking but don’t often do any until special occasions. I am so very excited! I show myself love by practicing meditation everyday and by taking Epsom salt baths with May Lindstrom goodies slathered on my skin. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway, Britanie!

  12. I plan on making a special dinner for myself and my husband and daughter. Were going to make a big deal of Valentines day by giving each other gifts, balloons, chocolate and a calendar for my 3 year old. I take care of myself by working out, trying to eat as healthy as possible, drinking green juice daily and doing hair and face masks once a week. I also do a positive affirmation every night, it’s a post it taped to my mirror and it says ” I accept myself unconditionally right now.” Thanks for the wonderful giveaway and hope that you and everyone has a lovely Valentines Day.

  13. I will be spending an evening at home with my husband. He’ll return home on Valentines day after being away for a week for work! In fact, I need to figure out what I’m going to make for dinner……

  14. lovely giveaway! I plan to make dinner with my boyfriend, maybe watch a movie or something. Nothing too extreme haha. I show myself love by working out and eating well. And sleeping! ♥ thanks for the giveaway – following you everywhere I think!

  15. My husband and I have a tradition of getting take out for dinner as a bit of an anti-Valentine’s day tradition. We started doing this our first year together when our “real” Valentine’s day plans fell through, so it’s become a fun and low-key way for us to celebrate. And we get to avoid the crowds in the restaurants 😉 Thanks for the giveaway, and Happy Valentine’s Day!

  16. I’ll be making a special dinner and desert for my family and relaxing at home. I like to stay away from the crowds on Valentine’s Day…too stressful! I pamper myself by doing a spa day at home. Face and hair mask and some time in the sauna leaves me feeling relaxed and renewed. What a great giveaway!

  17. I’m making dinner for my wife and she’s making dinner for me… at the same time! (We like different kinds of food.) As far as loving myself, it’s something I’m definitely working on right now. I like to think of my skin care and makeup routine as an act of self-love and I try very hard to remember how wonderfully lucky I am. Thank you for this amazing giveaway!

  18. I will be spending V Day with my two favorite men — husband and son, and, hopefully, enjoying some wine and chocolates!

  19. My husband and I are taking the day off work to get outside–which is a welcome relief after two days of being snowed/iced in! I show myself love with tea-drinking (love Pukka!) and aromatherapeutic baths.

  20. My one and only will be coming home on Valentines Day after a week of missing him while he traveled abroad on business. Perfect timing! Also, I am planning to treat myself with something new and exciting from one of my favourite online beauty that has a valentines offer. Some pampering will be highly appreciated after staying in bed with the flu this week. Thank you for this wonderful giveaway!

  21. Since we will likely to be STILL snowed in here on the East Coast, I plan on spending Valentine’s Day with my daughter baking cookies and having a fancy tea party! We will also have a “girls night in” and do our nails and have a sleepover! I cannot think of a better way to spend Valentine’s Day than with my sweet girl!

  22. This Valentine’s Day I will be snowed in with my dog. I will probably have fun reading a romantic Georgette Heyer book while wearing May Lindstrom’s problem solver to improve my complexion and drinking green tea.

  23. I have a surprise date with my boyfriend (he won’t tell me what we’re doing!). And to show how I care for myself, I finally signed up for health insurance- not an easy process and hours of my life I will never get back.

  24. I will be spending Valentine’s night with my fiance, eating a home cooked meal, and relaxing! A very low key holiday for us. 🙂 Sometimes you’ve got to take things easy and just enjoy the simple things in life. Any minute I get to spend with him is a happy one! I might also pamper myself with a nice relaxing bath and some chocolate cake as well… of course. 😉

Thanks for the giveaway! Love your blog. xoxo

  25. My boyfriend is going to meet me for a hospital date because I’m working a 12 hour shift that day. But we plan to truly celebrate on the weekend by having a day of face masks and hair masks together! Thanks again for hosting another amazing giveaway!

  26. Every day I give myself a moment to think of what I am grateful for, Valentine’s day or not, you have to take care of yourself first, therefore being able to love/give to others.

  27. Having a carpet picnic with my husband and two babes. I just started switching to green products after reading NMDL. Started with all products for the wee ones and now working on the ones my husband and I use, so this would definitely help! I think the switch as well as drinking green smoothies and doing yoga is how I care for myself.

  28. For me, even though it’s Valentines Day for most, it is my boyfriend and my 6 year anniversary! We aren’t sure what we are doing to celebrate but I have a feeling it will include going ridin on our motorcycle to a new town. Thank you for the Giveaway!

  29. I eat as Organic as possible and get at least 8 hours of sleep per night. My husband’s birthday is the day after Valentines Day so we never do much for Valentines. We have been married 28 years now. We show our love each day!

  30. I plan to spend it with my boyfriend by the beach 🙂 trying somewhere new to eat and just exploring the area! For myself I love to do yoga, eat well, play the guitar and sing. Thanks for this awesome giveaway!

  31. I’ll be going out to dinner with my boyfriend, and then staying in for the night, getting in some comfy cloths, and watching a movie 🙂 Nice and simple this year! I show myself some love by tending to my need for sleep and having little pamper nights when I’m stressed!

  32. This year we decided that instead of doing something for each other, we’d send flowers to my mother and our grandmothers. The excited phone calls we received from each of them worth far more than any gift or dinner out we could have shared…..Our mothers and grandmothers really put in a lot of effort to make every occasion special over the years, and I think it is definitely time that we put in the effort to make sure there’s just as special!
I brew myself a cup of tea and then take my dog for a walk. A walk with my dog helps to clear my mind and remind me that there is always time to sniff the flowers and to greet someone with a warm hello! In terms of beauty routine My favorite part is the ritual of applying my skincare at the end of the day. It’s my “me” moment and that’s how i care about myself.
I am a proud follower of beauty by britanie on every social media sites 🙂 .

    1. oops forgot to wish you a very happy valentine britanie and your valentine is very lucky to have you as valentine ..love

  33. Tomorrow I’ll go to work and wait impatiently for Sunday for my boyfriend to get to town. 🙂 Then we’ll go out to dinner and hang out and watch Downton Abbey. (Yes, he actually likes Downton Abbey).

  34. I’m not really celebrating tomorrow–I’ll be impatiently waiting for Sunday for my boyfriend to get here! Then we’ll go out to dinner and hang out and watch Downton Abbey. (Yes, he actually likes Downton Abbey).

  35. On Valentine’s Day a quiet dinner at a local gourmet restaurant. It’s a tradition. I show myself how much I care about me with pampering baths, moisturizer, yoga each morning, chai lattes and by eliminating the negative from my life as much as possible. Also living in the moment! I follow you on FB – debra pearlstein 🙂 xoxo ❤

  36. simple home cooked dinner + homemade cake (my husband’s favorite) + new season of House of Cards. Also a lot of firsts: first Valentine’s day as married couple and in a new city (where Valentine’s Day also is celebrated publicly)
For myself I am now trying to set rewards for some to do’s along the way to reach my 2014 goals, e.g. an organic beauty lounge visit or new running shoes once I’ve spent enough time in the gym to be ready to really test them out in the park. 🙂

  37. Happy Valentine’s Day Britanie! I am making my fiance’ a quiet dinner for two.He wants meatloaf so I thought I would make a heart shaped one 🙂 Have a great weekend!

  38. Hi there, my boyfriend and I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day. Actually my boyfriend thinks it’s rather stupid as we don’t need a special day to celebrate our love because we could do that every day while I wouldn’t mind getting flowers at least once a year, but anyway… So I’ll cook a nice dinner tonight because the boyfreind has to work longer and then that’s about it. To celebrate the day a little I got myself a new eyeshadow when I went grocery shopping!
    Love, Alex

  39. I’m going to give my daughter extraextra loves and buy her something she wants and play. Then later tonight I’m having a Galentine’s day dinner and a night out with my friends! My husband is in Honduras (immigration issues), my other’s friend’s husband is deployed, my best friend is single and our other friend is single. I’m not going to be brought down! 🙂 Today I’m treating myself as my husband would have if he was here- with lots of yummy food and good times!

  41. Hi Britanie, Happy Valentines Day! I plan to spend Valentines day doing homework and enjoying my snow day since my college cancelled classes. My boyfriend and I will be celebrating next week bc that’s when we get paid. I take care of myself by going to the gym 4 times a week and eating healthy.

  42. Hubby is taking us to the coast for a nice dinner this evening! The weather in Southern California is beach weather right now!

  43. Hi, Britanie
    Happy Valentines day!
I am spending mine relaxing, had a massage, manicure and just about to have a cup of Pukka tea my favourite! I look after my mind and body with yoga, meditation and running.

  44. This Valentine’s Day I started out with a lovely cup of home-roasted coffee with freshly baked blueberry muffins, proceeded to a long conversation with a good friend of mine by a fireplace at the local restaurant and in the evening I plan on taking a long bubble bath with a glass of white wine… It’s going to be a good Valentine’s Day!

  45. Hi Britanie,
I have been reading your blog for several months now and am loving the reviews of green beauty products! Valentine’s day for me was a surgery for a miscarriage, so hubby is spoiling me with my fav foods etc. Happy Valentine’s day to you!

  46. I’ll be spending my night eating a fabulous home cooked meal and watching netflix! Hope you have a great day and night too!

  47. What a nice giveaway!
Husband and I celebrate Valentines Day at home with our 2 young daughters. I cook a nice dinner for all of us and hubby and I relax and watch a movie when the girls go to bed.

  48. I’m spending Valentine’s day at a fiber arts festival with my mom and my best friend and her mom. We’re taking workshops, eating good food, buying gorgeous hand-dyed yarns and having so much fun hanging with our peeps! My husband is joining us tonight, and I’m so excited for him to meet some of the people I’ve met here over the years. Thank you for such a generous giveaway and happy Valentine’s day!

  49. I had dinner with my boyfriend at the Ethiopian restaurant where we had our first date about 4 and a half years ago. It was wonderful. 🙂 Lately I’m trying to take care of myself by being gentler with my skin.

  50. My sweetie is overseas right now for work, so I had a bit of a lonely valentines. To fight off the blues, I took myself out to the most indulgent dinner with girlfriends and then came home with some red wine and listened to old playlists I made years ago when I first met my partner. It was a lovely day in the end!

  51. I didn’t plan to do anything special on Valentines. We are moving across the country with a 3 month old, so it isn’t really good timing! haha 🙂 Already like you on fb. I follow on insta as gsgisi 🙂

  52. I spent my valentines day at home with my son and husband. We watched movies and then went out to sushi for dinner. I also had a few pieces of dark chocolate 🙂

  54. Hmm, we’ll I don’t currently have a boyfriend and I worked on valentines, but I believe everyday is a chance to send more love into the world. In everything you do you can try harder, smile more, say words that bring joy to the lives of people around you, love the earth by making conscious decisions, pick up trash that isn’t even yours!
    Give love = Feel love
Thanks for spreading it Britanie ❤

  55. My sweetie and I postponed Valentine’s day since I was recovering from some medical testing. But I got a nice delivery of local flowers anyways and tried to take advantage of the down time with some rest and pampering.

  56. Hi! This Valentine, my fiancé and I were very far away from eacother geographically, so I spent the day daydreaming about spending the day with him. 🙂
