Makeup Look: Dramatic Winged Eyeliner + Pretty Pink Lips!

Hi Loves!

I apologize for my absence lately. Sometimes you need to just “unplug” yourself and I felt like I needed a break from the internet and took some time for myself. I originally had posted a photo of me on instagram mentioning this look and said it would be up in a few days and I really apologize for the delay. Many of you were curious as to what I used to achieve such a dramatic eyeliner look and I think you will be surprised at how few products it took to achieve this glamorous look.

FACE:

I actually didn’t realize until after putting this post together that I used all Alima Pure products on my face for this look! I used Alima Pure Satin Matte Foundation in the shade “Neutral 2” all over my face and then applied the Alima Pure Concealer in the shade “Beige” to my under eyes and around my nose. I then applied a very light wash of Alima Pure Satin Matte Blush in the color “Pink” to the apples of my cheeks!

EYES:

I started by applying Alima Pure Eyeshadow in Glow all over my lid. I then applied Gabriel Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Chocolate Brown to the crease of my eyes. To create the dramatic liner I first lined my upper and lower lash-line with the Zuzu Luxe Eyeliner in Obsidian and then went over the liner with the Alima Pure Eyeliner in Black to help set. This helps to make the liner last all day and it also intensifies the look. I finished off the look with a pair of false lashes from Ardell and used my non-toxic eyelash glue from EcoTools.

LIPS:

Because I wanted my eyes to be the main focus of this look, I wanted to make my lips subtle, yet still pink and pretty! These two lip products work together beautifully. I started by applying Ilia Beauty In My Room Lipstick and then layered Gressa Skin Lip Boost in BARE over top.

  1. Don’t apologize, it’s your blog and you deserve to take some time for yourself ❤ You look stunning and I really like how you use simple products but still manage to create such a fantastic effect ! Ilia and Gressa make such a great combo 🙂 xx

    1. Thanks darling, I appreciate that!! I am so happy you like the look. I love to create dramatic looks that only took a few products to create! It makes it easy for anyone to create 🙂

  2. I love this look, so sassy. It has been forever since I did the whole dramatic eye thing, and I forgot how much I liked it. Thank you for the reminder 🙂 have to say the whole pink lip works really well too, I’ve got so many ilia lipsticks but in my room didn’t seem like a colour I would like, clearly I was so wrong! Xx

    1. Hey Tammy, I am so happy you like the look and I love that you used the word “sassy” perfect! I think we all need to be reminded to do a dramatic eye look here and there! 🙂 In My Room is the perfect pinkish nude. I am not a fan of really light colors usually but this one seems to work perfectly on it’s own and blended with others!

    1. Hi Kelly, thank you so much! I encourage you to just try the dramatic look! it’s so fun. Most people think they can’t pull it off but I believe we all can with the right amount of confidence! You can always go lighter with the eyeliner, too, to make it more wearable 🙂 xoxo

  3. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this Britanie, the eyes are just stunning and so different from your other looks. I wouldn’t be surprised if you were stopping people in the street with only a flash of those peepers that day!

  4. Hey…I just found your blog through google (I was looking for some Kjaer Weis swatches!) and thought I’d take a moment to comment and say that you are incredibly pretty and I’m really enjoying browsing your blog/backlog. It is almost enough to inspire me to start blogging again…if I ever get my website revamp off the ground ;). Have a great weekend, I love discovering new [to me] blogs! –Sara
