My skin really thrived with these products and thanks to the experts at RS, they instructed me on the right way to use the Custom Kit for my particular skin issues. So, I had really happy skin for the month that felt cared for, hydrated and even looked glowy. It’s no wonder,  because that is the #1 priority of Root Science and it shows.

The Routine: What I did each day for one month was to lather the Facial Cleansing Bar on my face with a little warm water. I rinsed thoroughly,then splashed my face with cold water as RS recommends to close my pores. Next I used 2-3 pumps of Bare Defense Oil into my face, neck and decollete with gently massaging upward strokes.

At night I alternated sometimes using the Facial Cleansing Bar and other times using the Face Scrub. For the Scrub I would put one tsp. of dry formula in the palm of my hand, mix with drops of warm water to form a paste, then in circular motions (gently) massage my face. I would rinse and follow with a splash of cold water. Again, I would put 2-3 pumps of Bare Defense Oil on my face before bed.

As RS recommended once a week I used the Reborn Facial Mask. I would take 1 tsp. of the dry formula and to activate it I used Manuka Honey. It makes a  very sticky paste,(avoid the sensitive eye area), or you can use warm water, (which RS recommends), but I prefer the added hydrating benefits of the honey. I would leave on for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water and follow with a splash of cold to close the pores again. And follow with Bare Defense Oil.
