Everlasting Light

“surround yourself with positive spirits. surround yourself with like-minded individuals: goal oriented, ambitious, dreamers and fighters. even if your paths are not the same, positive energies will always create magic. you need people, for inspiration, for peace, good vibes, love and light. open your heart. open..

I love when you get lost in conversations with people and lose track of time completely.

Sabrina is one of the sweetest, funniest, deepest, most beautiful people I’ve met in awhile.

I absolutely adore her โ™ฅ

I don’t know when my world shifted and I was introduced to so many amazing, inspiring, positive, loyal, loving female friends but I am just so thankful for it. It’s so important to have strong females surrounding you. I have more than a handful in my life now and I’m in awe with every single one of them.

They have become a vital part of my life.

I honestly could not ask for a better best friend.

Still can’t believe I am 27!!!!!

I celebrated my birthday a few different times with different loved ones and I have to say that I am overwhelmed by all of the love.

I have a lot of different things going on right now and I guess it’s a good sign when you are too busy to update much. I’ve been keeping myself occupied with positive things and am getting really excited about school and moving to New York.

I know, I know, I’ve been talking about moving for a long time now but it will happen. We are in the process! It’s not easy trying to find an affordable place on Long Island and it’s even harder when you own a pitbull!!!! It takes time but we are getting there.

I am hopeful every day.

Fiona and Me!!!!
So I saw (and ended up meeting) Fiona Apple at Bowery Ballroom the day after my birthday. When we got to the venue there was a line already around the corner, they finally let us in and started scanning tickets and when they scanned ours the guy said “no good.”… he re-checked it a few times and told us the tickets were not valid. I started crying and we started going upstairs to leave and one of the door men saw me and said “come here. what happened?” I could barely get words out because I was crying so badly. I told him that the person we got the tickets from screwed us over and they weren’t valid. He told us to wait here and went downstairs… two minutes later he said “come down here.” we went down and he let us through… I couldn’t believe it. Later on we thanked him a million times and tried to give him a $50 but he didn’t even want it. He said he did it out of the goodness of his heart and to consider it a lesson learned to never get tickets from craigslist again. His name was Dex and I’ll never forget him. It’s people like him that balance things out. For that one guy who screwed us over, there is someone like him that just wanted to do something out of the goodness of his heart. I will forever be thankful for what he did. The show was EPIC. She was so fucking amazing. her voice is insane. The range she has is just out of this world. She did so many crazy dances and would just stop and sip a cup of tea and ramble to the audience and then meditate for a minute. It was amazing. God, I love her.

We waited after the show outside in the freezing cold for over an hour for her to come out and there was a group of us waiting. She was kind enough to stop and sign autographs and take photos with people. I had her sign something and then take a photo and I told her I loved her. She was so shy. She just kept smiling and nodding and saying “thank you” very quitely. After she was kind enough to take a photo and sign something for me, we left. I just still can’t believe I met her and Gavin Rossdale. My two favorite living people. I just feel so, so lucky.
