Face Of The Day | Sunset Eyes and Pink Lips

IMG_4675vdd

This eyeshadow combination reminded me of a beautiful sunset. I used a gold/orange cream shadow from 100% Pure called “Belize” all over my lid and then blended it with the blush I used on my cheeks. I am obsessed with the blush I used in this look called “Nymph” from Zuzu Luxe. It is truly the most beautiful shade of pink with an almost lilac iridescent shimmer that doubles as both a blush and a highlighter (and eyeshadow!).

I also used the blush as a transition eyeshadow on the crease of my eyelids which is a tried and true trick of mine. Try adding your blush to your shadows and you will see that it adds a beautiful natural glow to the eyes and face. I did a thick line of gel eyeliner and winged it out slightly at the end for a more dramatic look using my favorite gel liner from 100% Pure. This stuff stays put and glides on beautifully! For my lips I used two colors – Love & Toast Lip Glaze in “Misbehavin’” and Revolution Organics in “Blushed” which created a vibrant fuchsia color that is really flattering for day or night.

    1. Awesome! I love to use it as shadow, I feel like it brings the entire look together even better. Thank you. I am so happy you like the look 🙂

    1. Thank you beautiful! This blush is my new favorite. I can’t get enough of it. It’s just so glowy and perfect and the shimmer is never too much! I love it!

  1. Whoa! I am going to steal this look, I think by far this is my most favourite look from you (although I love them all). I really do get the ‘sunset’ feel from this, and that pop of pink colour on the lips is a cherry on top. You are too talented at bringing a whole look together nicely.

  2. Sorry to say, I have been a promoter of this company for a while and did a few reviews for them with samples they sent me. They are not as pure as you think.
They have a new line of nail polish and here is just the ingredients for the top coat:
Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl
Glycol/Trimellitic, Anhydride Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate,
Isopropyl Alcohol, Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Polyvinyl Butyral,
    Benzophenone-1, D&C Violet No. 2, D&C Red No.17
this must be a joke, right? D and C colors?, isopropyl alcohol?
acetates? every single ingredient in here is questionable to me and
you can still call the company 100% pure? pure, what?

Better you try these companies – they do not have makeup, but body and skincare

I will stop using their products and throwing away the ones i have – i do not even want to share it with others, it goes against my principles
Time to go back to what is in nature and not try to change it because we will always fail when we do so and cause more harm to ourselves and the planet in the process.
