July 4th and Garden Party

I went to Long Island for the week and spent July 4th with my love. We ended up driving around in his miata with the top down and basically chased fireworks from every direction. There were so many and we kept parking at different spots and watching them.ย  Driving around listening to “Free Bird” and making wave motions with my hand outside of the window in the cool air, the smell of fireworks and my love by my side. It was a really relaxing and beautiful night.

We also went to Bare Naked Bakery again and I love that place so much. It’s fun to go every now and then as there are way too many processed foods there but it’s so delicious and if you cannot have gluten it is like heaven. They also have dairy and egg free options!

I also got to see Natasha and we had a garden party. We had so much fun dressing up and taking photos in her back yard. We layed out on a blanket for awhile because the weather cooled down and was so nice out but the next day we ended up both being covered in mosquito bites!!!! It was still worth it. I love having a friend who isn’t ashamed to dress up and have parties in the back yard all alone. It reminded me of childhood and when I used to always have my own little parties and get so glammed up.

I hope you all had an amazing July 4th!!! xoxox
