I have always been a little wary of bronzers just because I am so pale. However, I have found some bronzers that work beautifully when blended correctly and I was so tempted to purchase this beautiful cream bronzer and Illuminator from Ilia Beauty after reading many reviews on it. In photos it appears to have glitter in it but when blended on the skin, there are no detectable glitters or sparkles. It looks natural and gives a flawless finish. It is creamy but has a powdery finish on the skin. Organic ingredients are combined with the many healing properties of Rose Hip Oil which makes this bronzer extremely moisturizing but never leaves over any greasy residue. It has a light scent of Castor Oil which I love. It is not overpowering and once it is on the skin there is no scent at all. This product also photographs beautifully.
My favorite way to use this cream bronzer is on the highest part of my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose (it brings out the freckles on my nose so beautifully!!) and all over my eyelids. This makes THE most beautiful and wearable cream shadow. I love to wear this alone on my lids and I bring it all the way up to my brow bone. It looks so natural and stunning. I also like to use it as a primer for my eyelids before wearing other eye shadows. It doesn’t ever seem to crease on me as long as I apply it lightly with my fingers. A little bit of this bronzer goes a long way. It also works great as a contour. I am in love with this multi-use stick and I wear it every day. This product retails for $34.00 USD and you can purchase it on the Ilia Beauty Website or on Spirit Beauty Lounge, where you can also order samples.
Ingredients: ricinus communis (castor) seed oil*, sesamum indicum (sesame) seed oil*, theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter*, beeswax (cera alba)*, trioctyldodecyl citrate, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, manihot esculenta (tapioca) starch*, glycine soja (soybean) oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, rosa canina (rose hip) fruit oil, tocopherol acetate (natural vitamin e).
In both of these photographs I am wearing “Sway” on my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose and all over my eye lids, blended up to my brow bone. I also have a little on my lips! There are so many uses for this bronzer!
