Rahua Beauty Voluminous Shampoo

What is there to say about the Rahua Voluminous Shampoo that is negative? the answer is:  NOTHING!  But, oh what to say about the Rahua Voluminous Shampoo that is positive? Simply put… EVERYTHING!

In the past, I was never too picky about the shampoo I chose. I based my decision on the aroma, the price, and the, of course, the marketing!  But then I  had my “moment of enlightenment” a few years ago where I switched over to natural and non-toxic products. Seems ridiculous to me now, but it finally occurred to me that things I put ON and IN my body could have a positive or negative effect on my health! Since making the switch to shampoos that are not only sulfate-free but also gluten-free, I have become somewhat of a hair care aficionado. I’ve tried many natural shampoos that have left my hair feeling dry, limp or even oily. All things undesirable! Usually, there is something I like about each one, but not the “whole package” as they say. I’m usually left feeling like I need more of the promises fulfilled.

My hair is usually on the normal to dry side but in the hot months, it can get a bit oily. Especially when I go a few days without washing, which I try to do because it’s so much healthier for the scalp and hair to have our own natural oils help to lubricate the hair shafts. Healthy hair equals a very happy me!

I find that the Rahua Voluminious Shampoo is the absolute best for keeping my hair looking healthy, thick, shiny, soft and clean! I can go at least three days without washing (if not longer!!) when I use this magical product. It’s the best. It gives a light lather and really does regenerate my scalp and hair follicles as promised! This fortifying rich liquid is delicately fragrant with the scents of Lemongrass, Lavender, and Eucalyptus which are all aromatherapy enhancers as well as are star ingredients for healthy hair. It’s also safe for color treated hair. and it is Gluten Free!

I have very long hair which makes it extremely easy to be tangled and unmanageable. Especially if I go a few  days without shampooing and use dry shampoo (my favorites are the Captain Blankenship and my DIY Dry Shampoo) in between washes.)

The Rahua Voluminous is the absolute best shampoo that I have tried and is most definitely my all time favorite.

I also have to give honorable mention to the Rahua Voluminous Conditioner as well because it is also absolutely wonderful. I use it on the bottom three inches of my hair and it leaves the ends feeling so incredibly soft. I  sometimes use this conditioner as an all-over hair mask. I apply it from the roots to the ends of my hair and leave on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse well with cool water. Your hair will feel so soft and shiny after doing this!

  1. Can I ask Britanie, what type of water you have in your area? Green hair care is hard here, as the water is sooooooo hard! Ive been gagging to try Rahua but afraid it won’t be able to tackle the hard water!
    Thanks in advance,
    Jxx

  2. Hi Brit, What is your favorite natural deodorant that works?

    Thank You, Beverly

    1. Hey! Right now I use a few different ones… I love the LaVanilla Lavender and I also use the Weleda Rose Spray and also the Meow Meow Tweet lavender 🙂

  3. omigosh your hair is SO long and pretty! I’m too lazy to grow my hair out like that haha, but it’s beautiful and it must look incredible in braids and buns lol (which is really the only thing I’d wanna do with it bc as I said -I’m lazy about my hair). I really LOVE the Rahua line of haircare. All their products have been lovely to use, esp the volumizing ones (the hair spray, wax, and esp the shampoo/conditioners!) Lovely post ♥

    1. I actually ended up cutting a few inches off of my hair after these photos. It’s still crazy long but feels better! I’m super lazy with my hair too.. Honestly I usually just wear it up or in braids! I need to try more from the line, I have the hair spray and love it! The hair mask sounds so good too

  4. when are you going to share your hair care secrets with us..i am waiting desperately hun..my hair needs help..i am so worried about the current condition of my hair

  5. Your hair is seriously gorgeous. So is your skin. I’m envious ! I need to try Rahua, have heard so many good things

  6. Hi. Thank you so much for such a flattering shout-out. So happy you love it. I use the regular one b/c the voluminous one really does work and gives me some Texas-slzed locks. With my curlers, I end up looking like Dolly Parton!

  7. Oh my goodness your hair is sooo long & shiny! SO jealous, but you must have to use so much product haha! I’ve just got a sample of the conditioner so I’m excited to try that 🙂

  8. Do you use heat on your hair? If not what are your best tips for allowing your hair to dry so it turns out so pretty? Do you wash it at night and let it dry overnight? If you do dry it have you ever found a great heat protectant? I am curious because for years I have straightened my hair etc. and I think now that I’m in my mid-30s my hair has had enough. 🙂 Your tips and tricks would be wonderful to hear! By the way, love the blog, came across it only a few weeks ago and have already gone back in your archives to find your best recommendations!

  9. Your hair is only ONE of your beautiful features. Sorry I have not been on here in a while–my internet use has been rather limited to Facebook.

I am going to read more of your blog in a bit and recommend it to those whom I think the article will apply!
