Face Of The Day | Daytime Pink and Bronze Eye Look

I have never thought to use bronze and pink together but I went on whim with this combination and am really enjoying it lately. The winged eyeliner is light enough that it is appropriate for daytime festivities or holiday parties but you could make the liner thicker at night to add more drama if you wanted. In person these eye shadows are very subtle and the pink adds a beautiful brightening effect to the eyes. I paired this eye look with a red plum frost lip color which I think brings together the entire look but I think this would also be great with a light pink lip or even a bright red!

As always this look was achieved using only natural, organic or non-toxic products.

  1. Pretty look! Pink and bronze is actually one of my favourite combos 🙂
How do you like the shadow stick? I got a bronzy/brown shade (I don’t remember the name now!) but I haven’t had much chance to play with it yet.

    1. This is my first time doing the bronze and pink look but I really like it! I love the shadow stick. It didn’t crease AT ALL. It feels a bit heavy on the eyelids at first but after awhile that feeling went away. I am very impressed with it. I want to try more colors.

  2. You are crazy beautiful! I agree with Vivi, your eye makeup is always so flawless, it actually makes me eager to learn how to put makeup properly. I’m in the hunt for some good natural eyeshadows; Alima Pure or Zuzu Luxe. I know they’re different in forms, but which one would you recommend? (especially for someone who rarely uses make up).

    1. Than you so much!!! I would suggest trying out pressed eyeshadows if you aren’t used to wearing makeup a lot as they are much easier to apply. Zuzu Luxe has the best pressed shadows that I have found so far! I do love Alima’s shadows too though but I would suggest trying the pressed first and then the mineral!

      1. I have only tried one pressed eyeshadow from Jane Iredale which is a matte purple and it’s really pretty but other than that I only have two eye glitter type shadows from them that are loose. The Zuzu Luxe do not crease on me even without primer. They are so pigmented – I swear I have checked the ingredients so many times to make sure they really were clean because I am just so impressed with the pigmentation and lasting power of them. I only have three of them but want more!
