Beauty Review: The Balm Nude ‘Tude Palette

I purchased the Nude ‘Tude Palette by TheBalm not too long ago and have been using it every single day.

I wanted to do a proper review on it since I have really been enjoying it a lot.

I honestly cannot pick my favorites from this palette because so far I am loving every single color. They are very pigmented and blend amazingly well. I also find that they last all day for me. I do not have to touch up at all. I love using “Sultry” as a blending color in my crease and adding “Sleek” or “Sexy” to the outer V of my eye to add more depth. “Stand-offish” is the perfect highlighting shimmery pink color and “Sassy” is amazing for the brow bone area and the inner corner of the eyes. I love this palette and will be taking it with me when I leave for Maine tomorrow. It is the only palette I am taking with me! I just feel like I can get so much use out of this palette. It’s very subtle and yet glamorous at the same time. Love it.

Swatches

From L to R:

Sassy, Snobby, Stubborn, Stand-Offish.

Selfish, Sultry, Sophisticated, Schitzo.

Sexy, Silly, Serious, Sleek.

All in all:

Price: $36

Pro’s: amazing color pigmentation, blends well, lasts all day, great day to night combinations.

Con’s: The only con I can find is that there is a bit of fall-out with these shadows but I find if you apply your concealer after doing your eyes that this can easily be solved.

Tips: Wear an eye primer to make the shadows last longer! For fall out: apply a loose powder under the eyes after doing your foundation and concealer and wiping away the excess after applying the shadows.

xoxo,

Britanie

  1. I thought I would use this a lot more than I would use the Shady Lady Vol. 1 palette but you should definitely look into the Shady Lady palette. I love the neutrals (always have) but they get a little boring sometimes and the shades in Shady Lady are just as easy to work with. I’m glad you love your palette too!

P.S. Your stubborn looks more rose gold compared the stand-offish, mine look almost the same!

    1. I REALLY want to try the shady lady palette too! I have one of the shady lady eyeshadows that came free when I ordered some stuff on the site and I love how it works!!! I am really loving this palette though – for being natural its pretty awesome. stubborn is definitely different than the stand-offish in mine! stand-offish is a lot more shimmery!

  2. is the nude tude a non toxic palette? I’ve been looking here and there to find an organic palette as I can’t stand single eyeshadows but haven’t been succesfull so far
