Silk Naturals is a wonderful all natural mineral cosmetics company and they have an array of loose mineral shadows. I was particularly excited to try some of their Naked Palette 2 Eyshadows as I used to love the Urban Decay Naked Palettes and I wanted to see how these mineral clones performed and if they could rival the cult favorite, Urban Decay.
Let me tell you: they are almost identical. The pigment and lasting power for these shadows are impeccable. The colors are so vibrant that I don’t even need to wear an eyeshadow base before applying them (though I recommend it if you want your shadows to last longer). I am so happy to have a natural alternative to one of my beloved eyeshadow palettes that I have missed using since switching over to all non-toxic products! If you were a fan of the Naked Palettes or if you are a fan of eye shadows in general: CHECK OUT SILK NATURALS. You won’t be disappointed. Keep reading for more photos & how to get this look.
For this look I used four of the shadows from the Naked 2 Palette Clones Set.
I started by applying “A.K.A” (a frosty pink brown) all over the lid. I added “Reckless” (a weathered copper) in the crease and “Covert” (deep shimmery brown) to line my upper and lower lashes. Finally I used “Shell” (a matte nude) brow bone and inner eye highlight (I also added a tiny bit of RMS Beauty Living Luminizer to the inner corners of my eyes for an extra shimmer). On my lips I am wearing a light wash of Benecos Apricot Lipgloss and for blush I have a tad bit of RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek in Smile on my cheeks!

The colour really suits your tones x
I really like how smile looks on your cheeks, its nearly undetectable…but in a good way! I’ve actually ordered a few lipsticks from Silk Naturals a few months back and have been loving them. They are so pigmented that they actually stain my lips! But that’s no problem for me 😉 If they still have the summer collection out, you should totally check it out. I especially love the purple one, which in my opinion, is a dupe for the Mac lipstick ‘rebel’

I love Silk Naturals for the lippies, I have so many of them and love them all, I have a few other lip products but I am always reaching for the SN lippies. I did try some of their eyeshadows and they are so silky and pretty but I just don’t like using loose products because I don’t like the mess and so I don’t reach for them very often. If they were pressed I know I would order a bunch of them though, such a wide selection of gorgeous colors.
You look gorgeous. 🙂 I have to admit though, I’d be wary to forgo my Naked palette for mineral shadows. Minerals can be quite tough to handle.
beautiful pics, britanie! i am really digging those colors on you … can’t go wrong with browns! i never had the naked palettes, but i would use my friends’ sometimes. this looks like a great replacement option! my browns of choice right now are from pacifica and bareminerals, but quite honestly, you can never have too many neutrals! i’ve never tried anything from silk naturals but keep hearing about it. going on the list!

These colors are so pretty! I love Silk Naturals, especially the organic lipsticks! The blushes and mineral glows are super gorgeous too. And I love the fact they have clones of famous brands.
