I haven’t made a video in a very long time and figured I would film myself getting ready today. This is a very easy and quick makeup look – nothing dramatic. I like this look because it’s fast and really subtle but gives me color and makes me feel “made up” so to speak 🙂 I also am really loving all of the products I used in this video.
I have fallen back in love with the Jane Iredale BB Cream which I hadn’t used in awhile because I was testing out other products but recently went back to and I am reminded of why I loved it so much to begin with. It’s perfect for Spring and Summer and I love that it has added SPF and moisturizing properties as well as really great, build-able coverage. I also used RMS Beauty’s Lip2Cheek in “Smile” for the second time since winning the amazing giveaway over at Roost Blog and it’s such a beautiful color! It instantly brightens up my complexion and the littlest bit goes such a long way!

Jane Iredale BB cream – how clean is it?
Hey… so I think for many people “clean” really depends on your preference, for instance this BB Cream contains dimethicone which is a silicone that helps to give makeup more of a soft and slippery even application but for some people it can cause allergies or dryness. It is not really a “toxic” ingredient, it’s similar to bismuth oxychloride which is in many mineral makeup in that it is known to cause irritations in some people but is not actually toxic so for me I don’t avoid dimethicone or silicone because it has never irritated my skin. Every other ingredient in this BB Cream is very clean and definitely meets my standards!
