Weekly Musings #5

I have been spending a lot of time at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health lately. It is only 5 minutes from my hometown so whenever I am here visiting, I make sure to go there as much as possible. One of my favorite programs is the Kripalu R&R which is a weekend retreat. You can pick from a variety of workshops. I highly recommend if you're ever planning on coming to The Berkshires. It's a magical place indeed.

My new favorite lip tints. IN LOVE. They give the perfect amount of color. I love all three.

I have been taking this flower remedy every day and have noticed a huge difference. I absolutely love and admire Alexis Smart so much and trust everything she recommends and makes. This formula is a powerful remedy capable of instilling hope, calm, life force and joy in the face of fear, physicalillness, and physical or spiritual exhaustion.

Recently watched Gypsy on Netflix and I really fell in love with it. Some people said it was "too slow moving" but I found myself completely immersed in every second of it and cross my fingers there will be a second season!

I also binged watched this show. It was a total guilty pleasure and I loved every minute.

I've been listening to a lot of this podcast lately. It's the perfect mixture of humor and beauty!

My favorite dress. So comfortable and organic!

I now have two of these hoodies. I wear them almost every day.

Lana released her newest album and it's more beautiful than I imagined. My favorite tracks so far are In My Feelings, Cherry, 13 Beaches and Heroin.

I posted a new Selenite lamp that I bought a few days ago and I received so many messages regarding it. I love Selenite SO MUCH and had to have it. It is one of the most calming crystals and to have it as a lamp has been so comforting. I think everyone needs one, honestly.

This article from Lacy has me wanting this Everyday Oil.

I have an updated Brow routine in the works but I have been using this brow serum recently and love it. I apply it nightly to my brows.

The newest tonic addition to my daily cup of Coffee. Tastes delicious and helps to calm and balance my energy. I have a full blog post coming up on this product and brand.

THE BEST BALM IN THE WORLD. I use this on my body every single night after I shower. Just be warned that once you use it, you won't be able to be without it.

I have talked about this facial serum for over a year and I will continue to talk about it because every time I try something else, I immediately go back to this and my skin evens out so fast. Nothing else compares to this. (Code beautybybritanie saves you) 💫

  1. Dear Britanie,

As a heart-and-soul-native of Massachusetts, I am tickled to learn that you are from a town near Kripalu. My family all lived in western MA for years, and the Berkshires are one of my favorite places in the whole world.

My husband and I left New England for 13 years, moving to a small town way up north in NY, and while it was absolutely beautiful and we had a lovely farm, it wasn’t home. When we made the decision to come back to NE, we chose New Hampshire, but it is still NE, and so feels like home after only 5 years.

I love the photo you posted, but it makes me want to there for a visit!!!
